Privacy Policy

AppVera LLC (“AppVera,” “we,” “us”) — how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Last updated: September 28, 2026 Contact: contact@appvera.app

This policy describes our practices for the website appvera.app and for the services and applications we provide, including applications we build for our clients (e.g. AttorneyDesk). Please review this policy. By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

1. What data we collect

We may collect:

  • Contact and account information: name, email address, phone number, company or organization, when you sign up, contact us, request a demo, or use our services.
  • Usage and account data: information about how you use our services (including apps we build for clients, such as AttorneyDesk), login activity, preferences, and similar data necessary to provide and improve our services.
  • Communications: messages you send to us (e.g. via contact forms, support, or chat) and related metadata.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and similar technical data when you use our websites or services.

2. How we use it

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain our services and applications.
  • Authenticate users and manage accounts.
  • Send account-related and service notifications (e.g. booking confirmations, client portal invites, login or verification codes).
  • Respond to support requests and communicate with you.
  • Improve our services, security, and user experience.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

We may share personal information only:

  • With service providers who assist us (e.g. hosting, email delivery, SMS/messaging, analytics), under contracts that limit their use of the data to providing services to us.
  • With Google (Gemini) when you choose to use AttorneyDesk’s AI features — see AI features below.
  • When required by law (e.g. subpoena, court order, or applicable regulation) or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, or property.
  • In connection with a merger, sale, or restructuring of our business, subject to the same privacy commitments.

4. AI features (AttorneyDesk)

AttorneyDesk’s AI assistant (Ask AI and Draft with AI) is powered by Google Gemini, a third-party AI service provided by Google.

  • When you use an AI feature, your question, the related case details, and any document text you include are sent to Google to generate the answer.
  • AttorneyDesk asks for your permission before it sends anything to Google. You can turn this off at any time in Settings → AI Assistant; AI features will then ask again before sending anything.
  • Only include information you are comfortable sharing. Google processes this content under its own terms and privacy policy.

5. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we encourage you to use strong credentials and to contact us if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal or contractual retention requirements.
  • Object or restrict certain processing in some jurisdictions.

To exercise these rights or ask questions about your data, please contact us using the details in the Contact section below. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.

AttorneyDesk account deletion: you can delete your account inside the app (Settings → Delete account). Your account is locked right away and permanently deleted after 30 days; within that time you can email us to restore it. 7. SMS and messaging

For services that send SMS (e.g. client portal invites, one-time passwords or login codes, appointment reminders):

  • We use your phone number only to deliver those messages and to support the related service.
  • Message and data rates may apply as determined by your carrier.
  • You can opt out of promotional SMS at any time (e.g. by replying STOP). For help, reply HELP or contact us using the information below.

8. Updates to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the latest version at https://appvera.app/privacy-policy and will indicate the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy where permitted by law.
